About

Survival Spanish for Nurses was born at the bedside-and at home.It began when a labor & delivery nurse would come home with questions she couldn't answer in Spanish-questions asked by patients that highlighted a deeper need for language access at the bedside. Those moments revealed a gap between clinical skill and communication, and the need for something practical, compassionate, and real.Built by experienced educators and a labor & delivery nurse, this program focuses on the phrases nurses use-without grammar drills or memorization.Designed for busy nurses. No prior Spanish required.

Who This is For

For nurses who want to communicate clearly and confidently with Spanish-speaking patients at the bedside-without grammar drills, memorization, or prior Spanish experience.

What This is Not

This program is designed to support basic, respectful bedside communication and does not replace certified medical interpreter services. Interpreters should always be used for informed consent, diagnoses, and complex medical discussions.
